Certus announces President for Florida Region.
Certus today announced it has hired Ron Shakespeare as their President for the Florida Region.
Ron Shakespeare is a pest control industry veteran with over 24 years of experience. Ron began his career as a branch manager for Terminix. He eventually accepted a position with Steritech where he held several management positions. Ron continued to advance his career with Rentokil after it acquired Steritech. In his new role, Ron will focus on keeping our People First culture strong in all of our acquired companies. He will also be responsible for maintaining our commitment to provide world-class service to all of our customers. Ron will be an active member of the Florida pest control community, helping ensure that Certus is a positive contributor to the industry in Florida.

Certus entered the pest control market in May 2019 with the acquisitions of Eco Elite Pest Control and Mathis Exterminating to form a sizable platform in the Pacific Northwest. Certus entered the Florida market in January 2020 with the acquisition of Hoskins Pest Control. The company expects to continue to grow in its existing markets and enter new markets in 2020.
